  DRESS CODE  
  GENERAL:   Members, guests or visitors are not to wear tee shirts, denim clothing (of any type) tracksuits, shell suits, combat style trousers or training shoes in the clubhouse, on the patio, on the practise area or on the course. Clothing designed for other sports is not considered appropriate e.g. rugby shirts, football socks etc. However on International rugby weekends national rugby shirts may be worn in the clubhouse. All golfers must wear regulation golf shoes whilst playing on the course. Juniors may wear trainers on the course in the first year of membership. Caddies or supporters may wear trainers on the course but not in the clubhouse. Members are not permitted to wear uniform of any description on the course or practise areas. Trousers tucked into socks are not considered appropriate. Members are responsible for the dress standards of their own guests. A picture of appropriate clothing is displayed on the Club notice board.

LADIES:   On the course Ladies may wear tailored trousers, culottes, shorts, Plus 2s/4s or 3/4 length trousers. They may wear shirts with a collar or turtle neck with or without sleeves. They may wear ankle or trainer socks. In the clubhouse Ladies may as an alternative to the above, wear a dress, with or without sleeves, skirt and blouse or jumper, shoes or sandals. The wearing of golf shoes and protective clothing in the clubhouse is restricted to the changing areas.
 
 
GENTLEMEN:   On the course Gentlemen may wear tailored trousers, shorts or Plus 2s/4s. If worn, tailored shorts must be of a maximum knee length, of predominately one colour or tartan and must be worn with knee length stockings or predominately white ankle socks which must extend 2 inches above the ankle bone. Baggy beach type shorts or shorts for other sports are not acceptable. Flush fitted patch pockets are permitted on trousers and shorts but baggy vented patch pockets on the legs of trousers, or shorts, are not considered appropriate. Gentlemen may wear polo or normal shirts with collars or turtle necks but must have long or short sleeves.
in the Clubhouse Gentlemen may wear shoes or sandals and socks need not be worn with sandals. Shorts are not to be worn in the clubhouse after 9.00pm The wearing of golf shoes and protective clothing in the clubhouse is restricted to the changing areas.
 
 
JUNIORS:   Juniors must meet the standards detailed above which are appropriate to their gender.

PRIVATE FUNCTIONS:   Where a private booking has been accepted for sole use of the Lounge area, the dress code may be relaxed with agreement from the Club Manager.
